"Love Lasts" is a beautiful tribute to the commitment we make when we chance to love. This Bible verse is most often attributed to marriage. But bring to mind someone else you love - a parent, a sibling, a dear friend - and read those same words. God knew what he was talking about - they apply wonderfully to any loving relationship between two people.
Don't wait for Valentine's Day, wedding or anniversary, birthday. Life is precious, because life is fragile - tell that special someone how you feel today!
I embroidered "Love Lasts" on 14-count Aida with
DMC 6-strand cotton floss. Barely-there crosses or hearts dot the background, created with Kreinik Metallic floss. Although the borders both feature crosses and hearts, they are different. I opted to eliminate the traditional backstitching around the edges of the border so that the cross stitches simulate lace.
With primarily full cross stitches and backstitches, and a repeated pattern as a border, this is a very quick stitch.

- 9 ct. Aida 8 1/4" high x 10 3/4" wide
- 11 ct. Aida 6 3/4" high x 8 7/8" wide

I've tried them all . I prefer spring hoops but if my hands are weak I have a difficult time squeezing it. The tension is great if you like taut. I NEVER -
