Stitch a Quick and Easy
Sunshine Cross Stitch

This smiling sun awakens you with it's bright yellow and orange rays. Originally designed and used as another block or square for a baby afghan or baby quilt, it works for kids and adults alike. Add the image to a switch plate or the end of the pull chain that turns on the lights. Dress up otherwise ordinary shirts or pants by using waste canvas to add it to a pocket.

Cross stitch it on the coffee cup or travel mug that holds your first cup of morning coffee, with a sentiment like "Rise and Shine!" Be sure to check out my Cross Stitch Alphabet patterns for adding words to other designs.

You can embroider them on 3" bands and add them to the curtains.
