Hope. Such a small word. Yet our future, even our present, is nothing without hope. Hope gets us up in the morning, moves us about our duties, helps us plan and turns our plans into actions. We use hope every day, and especially at Christmas.
Hope is so much grander at Christmas. The hope of ages focuses on this one day and makes all of our tomorrows worth living.
You get the best of both worlds with this set of ornaments--beautiful and sophisticated designs that are quick and easy to complete.
This is a great project for beginners or youth, while experienced stitchers will be thrilled with how many they can complete in a short amount of time. These are perfect gifts for
--either singly or as a set. Make several to sprinkle about your tree or other decorations or use it along with our other Christmas ornaments. You'll find "Joy," "Hark," "Peace," "Let it Snow!" along with Santa and Candy Canes.

I embroidered the Hope Christmas ornament on 14-count Aida cloth with DMC 6-strand cotton floss and accented it with gold Kreinik Metallic floss. The front and back are stitched on two separate squares, then joined using half stitches. It is highlighted with padding, gold ribbon hanger and surrounding fringe.
Sparkle is added to the star with metallic half stitches on top of the cross stitches. For detailed stitch diagrams, follow the above links or click on the "How to..." button on the left menu.
