Let it Snow
Christmas Ornament Pattern

"Let it Snow!" remains a popular Christmas phrase, and not only due to the often-heard song that pops up this time of year.

In the U.S., at least in many areas, Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without snow. Hence another favorite song, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas." And while many retirees flee to warmer climes, they often return to snow ridden areas to celebrate Christmas with family. The grand children love snow almost as much as Christmas itself!

Fabric and Approximate Finished Design Sizes:

I embroidered the "Let it Snow Christmas Ornament" on 14-count Aida with DMC 6-strand cotton floss, accented it with gold Kreinik Metallic floss. The front and back are stitched on separate squares and connected with half stitches. To finish it off, we pad the ornament, add a gold ribbon hanger and surrounding fringe.
